About us
DLP is a highly-respected Manx business which has been established on the Island since 1990. Our specialist area is the design, development and manufacture of products for the assisted living sector to enable people to live independently in their own homes, particularly focused on bathrooms and kitchens. Initially located in Fort Street, Douglas, just manufacturing shower trays and subsequently relocating to Snugborough, expanding on-Island manufacturing to include Shower Screens and Cubicles, plus Kitchens
These products are complemented by a wide range of associated products which are designed by DLP and manufactured on our behalf by a global network of supply partners – including sanitaryware, electric showers, waste pumps and shower seats. Product innovation is driven from our state of the art Design and Development facilities at Snugborough, which host our multi-skilled product development team. Increasingly our products have a technology aspect, as illustrated in 2015 by the launch of the AKW SmartCare Plus, the world’s first Bluetooth Smart controlled electric shower which was designed and developed here in the Isle of Man.
